I'm 52 hours in now and I've slowed down on the main quest a lot to do side missions, unfortunately a lot of my companions died so I won't be able to do their stuff but there's always next playthrough
Got my ranger armour I found a mod which gives you the armour once you've done some stuff for the ncr so it fitted in with the story a bit but still annoying they didn't put it in the game in the first place.
